Frostpath Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Frostpath, a puzzle game published by Tarracobytes, handles your information. It covers the Android app distributed on Google Play under the package name org.tarracobytes.frostpath. Our game terms apply alongside it.

The short version

Frostpath collects nothing. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs. The game requests no Android permissions at all and holds no internet permission, so it is technically incapable of sending anything off your device. It works entirely offline.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or sensitive user data. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, device or advertising identifiers, photos, files, or usage analytics. Because nothing is collected, nothing is shared with third parties, and nothing is used for advertising, profiling, or training.

What the game stores on your device

So that your progress survives closing the app, Frostpath saves a little data in Android's private per-app storage: your campaign progress, stars and best move counts; your Expedition rating and current slot; your Daily Drift results, streak and best streak; your Rapid Fire best score; and whether music and haptics are switched on. This never leaves your device and is readable only by Frostpath. Puzzles are generated on your device from a seed rather than downloaded, so playing requires no connection.

Sharing a daily result

Finishing a Daily Drift puzzle offers a Share button. Tapping it opens Android's own share sheet with a short line of text — the date, your move count, and your streak — and you choose which app receives it. Nothing is sent unless you pick a destination, the text contains no personal information, and we never see it. Once it reaches another app, that app's privacy policy governs what happens next.

Children

Frostpath is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, because we do not collect personal information from anyone.

Keeping and deleting your data

Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to retain or delete and no request for you to make. The progress saved on your device is yours to remove at any time: uninstalling Frostpath deletes it, or you can reset the game while keeping it installed via Android's Settings, under Apps, Frostpath, Storage, Clear data.

Changes

If a future version of Frostpath changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the date above before that version ships.
